Established to Serve the Needy
Spandana Organisation was established in the year 1996 to render service to the poor and needy. By establishing educational centres for child labour and bonded labour children, we achieved many awards from the district collectors of West Godavari District.
Later, Spandana recognised the need to serve disabled kids. We took a lead step to organise a rehabilitation centre for disable kids and provided food, shelter, and therapeutic services in a rented premises.
In 2010, local elders recognised the need and came forward to build our own building for the disabled kids in an extent of 212 yards with the kind co-operation of ASHA FOR EDUCATION-USA.

A Loving Home for Around 40 Special Children
At present, Spandana Organisation provides full-time residential rehabilitation and family care for around 40 children who are severely disabled and, unfortunately, parentless. These children require round-the-clock loving support with essential daily activities including bathing, brushing, dressing, eating, and grooming.
Under the dedicated guidance of caregivers like Sushma garu and special teachers, our children receive physiotherapy, speech therapy, and personalized life-skills training to help them achieve maximum personal independence.
Playground & Dining Hall Project
We have secured 212 sq. yards of land adjacent to our building. We urgently need ₹20 Lakhs to construct a proper dining hall and a safe outdoor therapeutic playground.

Our Achievements
Successful Transitions
Till now we had trained 150 children who are now going to different schools. Some children are trained with type writing and tailoring.
